We are excited to share that our new disability centre officially opened its doors during its grand opening event last Saturday, marking a new era for the Clarence Valley region.
More than 50 people had the opportunity to tour our spacious centre and meet our fantastic team of disability Support Workers. The families, clients, local MP Chris Gulaptis, Councillors Karen Toms, Allison Whaites, Peter Johnstone, and Jeff Smith enjoyed a family-fun morning with face painting, gelato, live music and the Love Life Radio, all local to the Grafton community. It was a day filled with buzzing community spirit and to top off this wonderful day, the sun was shining above our new centre.
The open day event was an opportunity for the local community to see the facility first-hand and learn about our Momentum Collective services.
“We have a proud 40-year history of delivering programs and services in the region and are pleased to expand our service offerings in the Grafton community. We now offer Short Term Accommodation (STA) or respite, centre-based activities with our Empower! program and in-home support for those who live or care for someone with a disability”, said Tracey Mackie, Momentum Collective’s CEO.
If you are in the area, come and say hello in our new centre! The facility is open between 8.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday and we are located at 122 Dobie Street, in Grafton.
