Greta is a Community Support Worker based at our Supported Independent Living property in Terranora, NSW. Greta started working with Momentum after she moved from Ballarat in Victoria to Burleigh Heads in 2019. “I had experience working in disability support in Victoria so I was looking for a role in the sector. I absolutely love it up here, it’s so warm.” Greta enjoys supporting people to participate in the life of their community. She also enjoys the variety and flexibility of her role with Momentum. “The team here is great,” she says. “It was amazing from the very beginning. The staff were so helpful and welcoming when I started.”
Greta would like more people to be aware of the disability sector and understand how rewarding it can be supporting people who live with disability. “It is really all about spending time with some great people, respecting that person and helping them live a better life.”
