Casino Community Garden

A shared garden feeds the heart of a community, as well as the body.

Casino’s Community Garden was established in 2010 as a community building project. Seeking to strengthen the community by bringing people together, the garden has flourished while it’s encouraged sustainable, community-based change.

Welcoming everyone to come and volunteer, the garden relies on generous community groups and volunteers, who donate their green thumbs and time to grow and care for the bountiful vegetables, fruit and herbs. Ensuring the community momentum is sustained, the Casino Community Garden ‘pays it forward’, with all the produce harvested donated to local welfare agencies.
