Homelessness Week 2023 is taking place from Monday August 7 to Sunday August 13. Homelessness Week aims to raise awareness of the impact of homelessness on Australia via national and local community events, including providing information on the importance of housing as a solution and educating communities on how they can make a difference.
On any given night, 122, 494 people in Australia are experiencing homelessness. To support those sleeping rough or experiencing homelessness, Momentum is involved in several collaborative community events during Homelessness Week.

Join us for a free BBQ at the Quad in Lismore and get involved in activities and connect with service providers who will be sharing information on support services.
Join us on Wednesday, 9 August at Jack Evans Park for a free barbecue. Momentum is holding a stall along with Social Futures, DCJ and Fred’s place.
Join us on Wednesday, 9 August at the Grafton Shopping World for activities and information on support services.
