Virginia Walker
FCCA, CPA, MAICD
Chief Executive Officer

In a three-decade career spanning sales, finance and leadership, Virginia has held executive roles in leading organisations ranging from the Commonwealth Bank of Australia and EDS (now HP) to Ernst & Young and IBM.

Building on her corporate background, Virginia has gained a coaching qualification and written a book, ‘The Truth About Transformation’. She now works as a transformation leader and is passionate about helping people deliver and learn, particularly in the area of large-scale transformation programs.

Virginia is a Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants, a CPA member of CPA Australia, and a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Maryann Groth

Director People Culture & Change

Maryann brings over 12 years’ experience in senior HR roles in the not for profit sector to her key leadership role with Momentum Collective. As a highly skilled and experienced HR practitioner, Maryann leads a dedicated People and Culture team who oversee key areas of workplace culture including: All aspects of HR & People Management; Aboriginal engagement; and wellbeing and clinical supervision.
Maryann and her team are dedicated to ensuring our organisational culture is aligned to best practice, enabling the workforce to deliver support, services and positive outcomes for our clients. Her qualifications include a Bachelor of Business, Diploma of HR Management and Diploma of Positive Psychology.

Scott Loffler

Director Finance

Scott is a Chartered Accountant, inspiring business leader and talented business professional with over 25 years of comprehensive financial and operational management and corporate governance. Scott brings to Momentum experience across a broad base of industries, domestic and international, commercial and not-for-profit environments, private and public sector organisations to deliver progressive and diverse accounting and finance accomplishments. With over 5 years’ experience at an executive level with a not-for-profit community service and housing provider, Scott has operated diversified programs across multiple service streams, including mental health, family services, youth, disability, aged care and community housing across New South Wales and Queensland.

Mark Edwards

Mark is an accomplished senior executive with broad industry experience, gained from time in the public and private sectors.Mark brings to Momentum a collaborative management style that has consistently challenged people and businesses to adapt, evolve and lead through innovation and continuous improvement.Mark is a qualified Town Planner and business leader, with previous experience managing multi-disciplined project teams through property acquisition and leasing, town planning, engineering and design, project management and professional consulting disciplines.With 15 years of varied management experience, Mark has developed a flexible approach, coupled with energetic enthusiasm to strategically challenge the status quo to deliver a constructive difference. Mark provides a level of commercial and business acumen that complements Momentum’s executive leadership team and organisational experience.

Brendan Frawley

Director Marketing & Client Experience

Brendan holds a Masters in Commerce (IT) and a Bachelor in International Business Relations. Brendan honed his marketing skills within the automotive and consumer electronics industries in senior roles for Hyundai and Panasonic. He then moved into the “for purpose” sector, focusing on the transition to an NDIS and consumer driven landscape. He is passionate about customer service and loves expos and Brendan has the sought-after ability to combine maximizing brand awareness and market penetration with ensuring authentic representation of our clients and keeping organisational purpose front of mind.

Laura Kennedy
Certificate IV in Disability, Diploma Frontline Management
Service Director Disability - Assisted Living

Laura Kennedy is a highly skilled and experienced manager who has worked in a variety of senior roles in disability for over 15 years. In this key leadership role, Laura manages a dedicated team to ensure access to secure, supported independent living for people with disabilities. Laura’s qualifications include a Certificate IV in Disability, a Diploma in Frontline Management and is currently studying towards a Diploma of Counselling.
Laura is committed to expanding Momentum Collective’s services to meet the support and accommodation needs of people with a disability across the Gold Coast and Northern Rivers regions.

Sarah Walker

Service Director Community Programs

Sarah has created and maintained relationships at the local and state level of funding bodies and peak organisations to be a regional voice on regional issues, been a driver of innovative programs that have real outcomes, and designed education tools for other sectors to access regional services. This key leadership role reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer and works collaboratively with the executive leadership team to deliver excellent customer services to our diverse community services programs.

Trevor Shearn
Associate Diploma in Developmental Disability, Diploma of Management
Service Director Mental Health

Trevor Shearn brings a wealth of expertise to his leadership role, with over 30 years’ experience in the disability and mental health sectors. Trevor leads a dedicated team of staff across a range of trauma informed recovery programs. These programs assist people with psychosocial disabilities to reconnect with and participate in their local communities. In addition Trevor and his team assist people with disabilities access employment through the Australian Disability Enterprise program, across Momentum Collectives regions. Trevor’s qualifications include an Associate Diploma in Developmental Disability and a Diploma of Management.
