Step into the holiday spirit with our fourth annual Christmas campaign at Momentum Collective. In our daily efforts supporting women, children, families, and individuals navigating homelessness or escaping Domestic and Family Violence, we witness various challenges. As the year comes to a close, many families are experiencing financial challenges due to the increased cost of living in Australia. Our goal every year is to bring joy to the lives of families and children we assist, stretching from Grafton to Tweed.

This year, our community joined hands with us, generously donating toys, gift cards, and non-perishable food items, resulting in over 200 thoughtful contributions. From skateboards and soccer balls to essential personal items, these donations filled our Tweed Heads Head Office with the spirit of giving.

In Casino, a heartwarming story unfolded as two young girls organised a toy sale, raising an incredible $800 for families and children supported by Momentum. With these funds, they carefully selected brand-new toys to bring Christmas joy to those in need.

“We’re truly grateful for Keira and Sophie’s generous donations. They worked tirelessly to bring joy to children facing financial hardship. These young girls and their mother represent hope and joy, and we eagerly anticipate delivering these gifts to our casino families,” shares Bec Liska, Momentum’s Brighter Futures Service Manager.

As our Christmas campaign donation period concludes, we sincerely thank every organisation and individual who contributed to our community. Our dedicated staff members are eager to deliver your thoughtful gifts across our footprint, promising smiles and holiday cheer for vulnerable families.
